当時、30年前くらいに、オーストラリアに行ったときにゲットした究極のコレクターズアイテムです！2006年にCDで再発は出ましたがそれも完売しています。

ジャザノヴァのプレイリストに度々登場しながらも日本のどのDJもその存在を確認出来なかった70年代オーストラリアソウル究極のコレクターズアイテム CHARLES HULL のプライベートプレスアルバム!!キーボディスト、チャールズ・ハルが数々のヴォーカリスト&ミュージシャンを迎えて自主制作した本作は70年代当時のフュージョンともディスコシーンを横目にジャズを基調としたジャズファンク/ソウルアルバムを完成、当時わずか200枚しかプレスされなかった事も手伝ってその存在は近年になるまで知られていませんでした。ディーラーから偶然入手したジャザノヴァのメンバーがこのアルバムに収録されたマーヴィン・ゲイタイプのメロウソウルチューン IT HAD TO BE YOU を度々プレイする様になりヨーロッパでその存在が注目される様になったのですが、オリジナルが200枚しかもオーストラリアプレスのみ、世界では凄まじい金額で取引されている恐ろしくレアな一枚。しかしレア度を上回るその内容の良さがこのアルバムの凄い所で、数々のカヴァーを生んだバカラックの名曲ジャジーソウルカヴァー「The Look Of Love」や女性ヴォーカルが光るメロウソウル「Just A Feeling」等その素晴らしさはお墨付き!!
